Your username is permanent and cannot be changed once claimed. You are responsible for your password; because x.it holds no email address or phone number, we cannot reset it for you and cannot confirm your identity by any other means. Keep your recovery details somewhere safe.
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant x.it the permission needed to store and display it inside the app, and nothing beyond that. We do not sell or license your posts.
You are responsible for what you post. The four rules are the complete list of what gets removed.
Content breaching the rules is removed and the account may be suspended. Rule 01 — sexual content involving a minor — results in a report to NCMEC, a permanent ban, and no appeal.
Accounts verified by document check are banned by identity, meaning a new signup with the same document is refused.
The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that posts will be preserved indefinitely, or that it is suitable for any particular purpose. We are not liable for what other people post.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. See privacy for exactly what deletion does and does not remove — in particular, your posts remain with no author attached.
We may suspend accounts that breach the rules.
